Mediterranean Munchies

So I’m kicking myself for tonight. I went out to eat with a couple of friends and FAILED as a blog writer….by forgetting my camera in my other bag!!! I was so disappointed, too, because it was my first time trying this place out!!

However, let me start from midday — which INCLUDES pictures! 🙂

For lunch, I had some rice, but I didn’t have any salsa so I made up a new concoction with chili paste! So spicy and so yummy!!

For dinner, a couple of friends and I went out to this restaurant in Back Bay called Cafe Jaffa. I was bummed that I forgot my camera, but at the same time, it was very dark so my pictures probably wouldn’t have turned out so great.

I got hummus (deeeelicious and came with pitas), a small salad and falafel. It was my first falafel experience, and they were absolutely delicious — there were four of them, and four (about golf-ball sized) were plenty…but that didn’t keep me from secretly wishing there had been more. They are addictive!!  I also got a coffee (I’ve got to be productive tonight!!!) and my friend, Katharine, and I shared a piece of baklava (delicious!).

This was my meal + an unpictured salad (though, this picture is not owned or taken by me).

It was a fantastic meal — paired with really great conversation, and it’s always fun trying out new places!! I will definitely go back! So much more to try out!

I have lots of work to get done tonight — but tomorrow is Friday – yayyy!! TGIF bloggers!!

Hope you all had a wonderful day!
