Inventory Exhaustion

Hey everyone. Hope you all had a splendid weekend!! The weather here was wonderful!! πŸ™‚

Before I get into today (which I don’t have any pics for, boo…I apologize), I want to talk about the ah-may-zzzzing!!! dinner I had last night. So, I went out for dinner and drinks with a friend of mine from high school. We get together about once a month and catch up, and all that jazz. Anyway, so we always go to this place near my house in NH called Not Your Average Joe’s. The one we go to is in Methuen, MA, and honestly, I’ve been going there for so long that I feel like I know all of the servers (seriously, it’s been at least 8 years, and a lot of the waitstaff is still the same).

Anyway, I’ve probably had pretty much everything on their menu (even though it changes haha), and so I try to order from the specials menu as much as possible. Last night…oh man, was I in for a treaaaaaaaat! haha THIS is what I ordered:
“cranberry-teriyaki butternut squash pizza ~ roasted butternut squash, ricotta and spinach, with a cranberry-teriyaki glaze 9.99″

In my head, I was like, “This will either be amazing or gross…” but I was willing to take the chance. haha

And the chance paid off…it was amazing. Easily the most amazing pizza I have had in a LONG time. It doesn’t hurt that they have their own stone hearth forno that they cook the pizza in. YUM.

I didn’t get a picture of it fresh from the oven, but I took a pic of my leftovers. πŸ™‚

This (pictureless) morning, I was up bright and early (though not without some griping, I must admit) for work. I indulged…yet again…in Nutella on some Arnold Select Sandwich Thins. YUM.

It was a tough day at work. Inventory is tonight, and though I was not actually participating in inventory — I had to help get the store prepared for it. Which was tough — and I was (and still am) quite tired all day long. I sucked itΒ  up and worked my booty off, and made sure to get a LARRRGE coffee from Gloria Jean’s at lunch time. I wish there was a Gloria Jean’s near me in Boston; it’s just so delicious!! And I just found out they have a Twitter…yesssss! πŸ™‚ haha

Today was my 2nd to last shift, and well, it just made me realize how worn out I’m getting. I don’t want that..and I especially don’t want to start getting sick — as that always happens when I stretch myself too thin. I know I’m doing the right thing by parting ways now. πŸ™‚

I’m already in my jammies, and making sure I have everything in order for tomorrow’s morning class..and then its time for my DVR and BED…glorious bed! haha πŸ™‚

Nighty-night everyone!

Peace, Love & Munchies.

  1. Nutella is SO good. Which is why I don’t buy it anymore! I indulged when I was in Italy this summer, and when I go visit my parents (because they sometimes have it) but I just can’t buy it anymore!!

    • Seriously, I can’t buy it either — my mom had it at her house, hence my weekend obsession with it, haha — but literally, I would eat it out of the container by the spoonful — wooops. haha
