Calling all Boston-area bloggers, readers and friends (or anyone else who may be interested!)
Alicia from PMG PR contacted me today to let me know about this awesome event that Boloco is putting on for The Prouty which benefits the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center!
I was happy to help spread the word about this great event, as my love for Boloco (and especially their GUAC!) knows no bounds, and cancer hits too close to home for me.
The event itself is a Boloco Burrito and Sam Adams Beer Pairing! It’s taking place on Thursday, June 9th, at the Boloco Pearl Street location. Tickets are just $25 – and there are two different tasting times: The first from 5:00 – 7:00pm and the second from 7:30 – 9:30 – pick what works best for you while tickets last!
Oh – and Food Should Taste Good will be there, too. So many good eats!
What better way to kick off the weekend a little bit early than with some burritos and brew for a fantastic cause?!
Please join us at boloco Pearl Street on Thursday, June 9th, as we enjoy burritos & brews to raise funds for Team Boloco who will be riding The Prouty on Saturday, July 9th. The Prouty is a 30/50/100 mile bike ride to benefit the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Boloco’s head chef, Jason Hutchinson, will be preparing boloco favorites in addition to some newly inspired flavors yet to hit the menu! And our good friend, Todd, from Samuel Adams Brewery will be pairing our burritos with the Sam Adams Summer Styles Variety Pack. Finally, Food Should Taste Good will be on hand sampling a variety of chips, including their addictive Cheddar flavor! While the portions will be on the “disturbingly small” side, we promise you’ll leave with a belly full of snacks, beer, and burritos. What could be better than that?
We’ll also be collecting sign-ups for anyone who would like to be a part of Team Boloco’s Prouty Ride as well as selling some sweet cycling-related gear, like boloco water bottles and bike jerseys.
Raffle prizes? Yup, we’ve got those, too. Each ticket is $5, or 4 tickets for $15…
- Boloco card loaded with 52 freebies… yup, a burrito a week for a year.
- Bucket of Cheer – 2 t-shirts, 2 Boston Lager Perfect Pint Glasses, 2 hats, 2 bottle openers, and a Brewer Patriot Certificate good for 12 cases of Samuel Adams (for pickup at the brewery), valued at $400.
- Food Should Taste Good Tote – filled with FSTG gear (t-shirt, hat, koozies), a chip and dip bowl along with a variety of chips and a Creative Bluetooth Wireless Speaker, valued at $250.”
Please note there are TWO different tasting times- 5-7 PM and 7:30-9:30 PM.
It goes without question that this is a 21+ event, so be sure to bring your IDs!
